WELCOME n' COME ON IN! - I grew up in southwestern Ontario, on a horse farm near a small town called Merlin. My mother and father had three boys, I was the middle child. Ironically enough my brothers and I developed allergies to horses and with nothing to do out there turned to music, more specifically Rock n' Roll. My first 'gig' was in the mid 80's in another small town by the name of Tilbury. The band covered early Metallica and some old punk rock tunes. My brother played drums and I played guitar and sang, it was a lot of fun. As a child I distinctly remember Hank Williams Sr., Merle Haggard and Patsy Cline playing on my parents stereo. When I was a teenager my uncle lent me 'Tattoo You' by The Rolling Stones.

'The music and lyrics are surprisingly personal, often heartbreaking, but always honest
- a trait that is missing from a great deal of today
s popular music'. - Shaun Sanders

After hearing the Stones, I wanted to play Rock n' Roll. I've been writing for about 15 years. The styles have been different over those years, but I take pride in my work. I used to be the front man for The Matadors and co-wrote a few songs with legendary guitarist Joel-Hooch-Parkins. They were strong rockabilly tunes, he and I had great chemistry. During their 4 year run, The Matadors played country in the tradition represented by Williams, Johnny Cash, Buck Owens and Merle Haggard. Lonesome Blood and Behind the Blue Wall are my two regional solo records and contain some of my best work. Dan Brodbeck produced and engineered everything I've ever done. He helped me understand the recording process early in my career and I consider him to be a huge talent and a good friend. What are the plans for the future? I guess I could tell you that we have big plans and that my new release is going straight to the top, but the truth is I just want people to listen to my music and hopefully feel something. That's what I'm about'. - Chris Hart
